FAQs

Should I choose Inside Mount or Outside Mount?

Choose Inside Mount if you want the shade installed within the window frame for a clean, built-in appearance.

Choose Outside Mount if your window does not have enough mounting depth, or if you want additional coverage around the window opening.

Always check your window structure before selecting the mount type.

How Do I Measure for an Outside-Mount Cellular Shade?

For window frames with a depth of less than 2":

  • Measure the full window width, including the moulding, then add ½ inch.
  • Measure the full window height, including the moulding, then add 3 inches.
Do I Need to Subtract ⅜ Inch for an Inside Mount?

For a manually measured inside mount, subtract 3/8 inch from the smallest opening width before entering your order width. Do not subtract from the height.

What Minimum Window Depth Is Required for an Inside Mount?

For window depths at least 2.5"
